HOLIDAY GIFT GUIDE FOR THE FREQUENT FLYER

HOLIDAY GIFT GUIDE FOR THE FREQUENT FLYER

It’s officially holiday-shopping season! Looking for a gift for your favorite world traveler? Here’s a list of gift ideas with a wide range of prices that avid travelers will LOVE!

  • AirPods - $159

    • If your traveler doesn’t already have a pair, this is a great gift because of the portable size and super long charge. Mine probably get more use on trips than at home!

  • Alo Yoga Hoodie - $78 - $150

    • My favorite travel clothes are all Alo Yoga! The clothes are comfy, flattering, and come in the most soothing colors. They have a line for men now too so you really can’t go wrong with this gift!

  • Andar Wallet - $65

    • I bought the previous version of this wallet for my boyfriend Anthony last Christmas and he loves it! The slim size and RFID protection makes it ideal for travel.

  • Collapsible Water Bottle - $17

    • Help your favorite traveler off-set the carbon footprint they’ve built by flying around the world by helping them cut back on the number of plastic water bottles they have to purchase on a trip. A regular bottle takes up too much room but this cute collapsible one could easily fit in a carry-on or even clip to the outside of it!

  • Dual Voltage Hair Straightener - $100

    • Hair straighteners, blow dryers, and curling irons are one of the more difficult things to travel with because they often will fry without a converter! Being able to do your hair on a trip like you are used to doing it at home can seriously change how you feel throughout your travels! I have the straightener linked above and absolutely love being able to bring my favorite hair-styling tool around the world with me.

  • Kindle - $90

    • Books are just to big and heavy to pack. So if your frequent flyer doesn’t have an e-reading device this is the perfect gift!

  • Mejuri Travel Case - $85

    • Tangled necklaces are a huge pet peeve of mine! I usually pack my jewelry in empty Altoid boxes or small ziplocks but lately I’ve been thinking it’s time for an upgrade! Mejuri has a beautiful, high quality case that gets great reviews but here’s a cheaper one if you are trying to shop on a budget!

  • Milk Makeup - $15 - $39

    • Milk not only makes incredible, vegan products but their makeup is uniquely suited to travel because so much of it is solid as opposed to liquid! I linked a set of their bestselling products but if you don’t want to spend that much you can buy a couple of the minis for $15 each instead. The Cooling Water Serum and Watermelon Brightening Serum are lifesavers for your under-eyes after a long international flight.

  • Mini Versions of favorite makeup products - Varying prices

    • A lot of travelers keep a toiletry bag packed with all of their go-to makeup and skincare products in travel sizes so all they have to do for packing makeup is throw the bag in their carry-on. Unfortunately, even travel-sized products can add up to be quite expensive! This year, gift your favorite traveler a few of their favorite minis.

  • Moleskine Voyageur Journal - $20

    • Moleskin journals are high quality and compact! This one is specific to travelers with pages designated for planning and budgeting trips and recording the memories made on them.

  • New York Times 36 Hours Book - $30

    • The NYT 36 Hours Books are beautifully done and a great gift for anyone that loves to travel or aspires to explore more of the world! I got the Asia & Oceania one for my Dad and it’s so fun to flip through and get ideas for future trips.

  • Noise Cancelling Headphones - $150

    • Noise cancelling headphones can make a huge difference on a long flight. Bose and Sony (linked) are known for making some of the best headphones but they can get pretty expensive. Keep an eye out for Black Friday and Cyber Monday deals on Amazon; last year there were some huge savings on Bose!

  • Reusable Straws - $10

    • For the eco-friendly traveler, this is an easy, inexpensive gift! These collapsible straws are compact and easy to clean no matter where someone is around the world.

  • TopTote Hat Clip - $48

    • Any hat-lover knows that packing hats is always a struggle. TopTote creates cute and useful clips so travelers can avoid smashing their favorite accessories into their suitcases and use one of these stylish clips to attach them to the outside of their bags instead.

  • Travel Hair Care Kit - $16+

    • I rarely pack my own shampoo or conditioner on trips but relying on hotel or Airbnb products to keep your hair healthy can be risky on longer trips. This holiday season try putting together a travel hair care kit as a gift! Just buy full-size bottles of your traveler’s favorite brand of shampoo/conditioner and pair them with the cute, travel-size bottles I linked from Amazon.

  • Universal Adapter - $19

    • This isn’t as fun or exciting of a gift but trust me, if your favorite frequent flyer doesn’t already have one of these, it will be coming with them on every future international trip.

I had a lot of fun putting together this list and I hope it gives you some inspiration for your holiday shopping! Let me know what you would add to the list in the comments!
